News and Status 8/10/08. The new kit, the Spitfire MK.IXe (PCM 32006) has arrived! We are shipping them. The MK.IXe kit has 2 decal sheets as there are six choices including RAF Norwegian, SAAF, Czech, RAF 74 Squadron, Israeli (Ezer Weizman) and Russian. This kit also includes color painting instructions. There is a new book from Ali D'Italia which has arrived. AD27 on the Macchi C.205. It is now up in our catalog for orders. We also received some re-stocks. The Caproni C.311-314 AD24 and the Fiat BR.20 Part 2 AD25 are back in stock. Italian Schneider Cup Racers AD26 is back in stock. AS01-AS06 are back in stock. We have received a re-print of "Caproni and the Sea" with new information and photos. You can see it under books, Giorgio Apostalo (GAE 001). Massi Models has re-issued their MM 48001 resin kit of the Fiat RS.14. They have also issued their new 1:48 resin kit of the Imam Ro.44 naval recon seaplane (MM 48002). Both are now in stock again. They are both up in our catalog for orders. Our re-stock of Friulmodel items has arrived. All backorders have been shipped. We have all of their new 1:48 scale tracks except for ATL 4810 which was out of stock. We carry most of their metal figure lines. If your local hobby shop does not carry these tracks, please ask them to contact us. We have also received a re-stock of Jordi Rubio gun barrels. We have appointed a new exclusive distributor for Great Britain for our Pacmodels kits. They will be selling wholesale to hobby shops there and also retail. We will not be accepting retail or wholesale orders for our Pacific Coast Models kits from the United Kingdom. AlphaFlight resin kits of the 1:48 Cant Z.1007 (AF 48011 and 012) are sold out. We have one left of the single rudder day bomber (AF 48010). AlphaFlight has informed us that they can make a few more, so we have placed a small order. Please order now. The next new kit from AlphaFlight, the 1:48 scale resin kit of the British Sunderland MK.III flying boat (AF 48017) is in production now. This is the largest kit they have ever produced as each fuselage half is one piece. Decals include British, French and Australian aircraft. They estimate that they can ship 12-14 kits per month, so place your orders now as the next 3 months production is already sold out. We will ship backorders using the oldest orders ship first method. We have stock of the new AlphaFlight 1:48 resin kit of the Cant Z.506 floatplane (AF 48016). The floats are hollow to keep the model weight down. This kit includes PE and a Cartograf printed decal sheet which includes the Red Cross decals for Air/Sea rescue and German markings. It looks great! AlphaFlight has supplied us with a few of the Fiat Br.20 early version (AF 48015). The BR.20M (AF 48014) is sold out and out of production. We just received a shipment of Lifecolor "Pigment and Paint sets". Two different sets for German WWII armor, Nato armor, two different sets for German WWII uniforms, Italian WWII vehicles and two different sets for Luftwaffe WWII. There are also two WWII Kreigsmarine sets along with a Dust & Rust set. The is also WWII US Army Olive Drab, Italian Uniforms WWII, Italian WWII Naval colors and English Mid-East Vehicles WWII. We will delete those items in our catalog which are out of stock. Our 1:32 scale Macchi C.200 (PCM 32001)and Macchi C.205 (PCM 32003)are back in stock again. Backorders have been released. The Macchi C.202 and Re.2005 are available. MA01 "Italian Armour in German Service 1943-45" is sold out. Regarding Karaya, their line of armor accessories includes tow cable sets with resin ends, tow cable sets without the resin ends, metal machine gun barrel sets (for armor and aircraft) and their metal track link sets for the Tiger I early and late. We are also stocking their tow cable sets in 1 meter lengths.
